Ultra lightweight extruded aluminum for precision roller skating.
The PowerDyne Reactor Original roller skate plate is designed for high performance artistic, jam, and track skating. The lower wheel clearance brings the skater's center of gravity lower, improving stability. The 10-degree kingpin angles are almost straight up and down, designed for the long track of the speed skater or the stability needs of roller derby.
NEW! Now the classic Reactor plate features the updated black kingpin with an improved Nylock adjustment nut.
The recent improvements to the Reactor design also feature improved shaping on the pivot pin of the standard aluminum trucks for better response and longer life, and durable Delrin pivot cups that outlast the original brass style.

Click the link above for sizing and specs. The plate-to-boot-size is based on standard mounts for Riedell skate boots. If you don't have a mount preference, use the size recommended in the chart.
If you prefer long or short mounts, then you will need to adjust your size accordingly. Standard mounts are most common, while some skaters prefer short mounts (using a plate that is "too short" for the boot). Short mounts are less stable, but offer greater agility and tighter turning.
If you are mounting these plates on non-Riedell boots, we recommend you use the sizing (in mm) and wheelbase measurements to determine your plate size, rather than the boot size, as boot sizes vary between manufacturers.
