Note to Parents: Unlike most kids' skates from toy or sporting good stores, the Wave skate has fully adjustable trucks, standard-sized skate wheels, and real precision bearings. That means you can swap them out with any roller skate wheels and bearings, letting you upgrade and replace components as they wear down, and extending the life of the skate. We can't tell you how many times parents have brought us sporting good skates with hard, plastic wheels that stopped rolling after a few weeks, and are angry that we can't fix them. Unfortunately those skates usually have parts that are not replaceable or repairable. By purchasing skates from real roller skate manufacturers, you can bet that you'll get the most life out of your investment.
